We’re looking for a Narrator!
Fancy yourself a voice actor? Have you dreamed about narrating “Peter and the Wolf”? Now's your big chance!
Skagit Symphony presents an annual School and Family Concert Series, including three back-to-back performances for all the 5th graders in Skagit Valley, as well as a Family Concert for the general public. The narrator will be needed on the following dates:
Regular Rehearsal: Monday, January 15, 7-9:30 pm
Dress Rehearsal: Monday, January 22, 7-9:30 pm
School Concerts: Thursday, January 25, 8 am-3 pm
Family Concert: Sunday, January 28, 2 pm concert, 1:00 pm call time
Auditionees must be available for the four dates listed above. Skagit Symphony is a 501(c)(3) non-profit made up of volunteer musicians. The narrator role will be an unpaid position.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
Written
Interested candidates should submit a one-page resume including any relevant experience as well as a brief written description of your background, experience, and interest in this role.
Video
Please submit a video recording in the form of an unlisted YouTube link* of the excerpt from the audition packet (see below), from the end of the Peter and the Wolf narration.
Submission
Your resume, cover letter, and excerpt must be emailed to orchmgr@skagitsymphony.com no later than Wednesday, November 1st. Audition results will be announced at our concert on December 9th.
